Jigsaw Provide AW139 Sea Tray to Weststar Aviation Malaysia

Jigsaw Aviation is proud to announce the delivery of an AW139 Sea Tray to Weststar Aviation Services Malaysia. The AW139 SAR Sea Tray was designed through a lengthy collaboration between Jigsaw and Weststar Aviation staff, with final designs being recently approved and fabricated for service. Weststar’s AW139 Sea Tray was recently delivered and Jigsaw’s team could not be happier. Mr Richard Williams, Jigsaw’s commercial manager said “We are proud to have been chosen by Weststar Aviation to design, build and deliver their new AW139 Sea Tray”. “Weststar Aviation have an excellent international record for the highest standard of safety and professional service, and we are  proud to be selected to provide safety and SAR products to complement their service delivery.” “This project was challenging as we did not have access to the aircraft cabin or specialised seating in use, but with good communication and a high degree of attention to detail by Weststar staff, we were able to deliver exactly what Weststar Aviation were after to the millimetre”

Westar Aviation had special needs with their product including bespoke designed seat covers that allowed under-sea access, dual door openings and free standing anti-collapse walls and connection and integration between seats and flooring. The end product was a waterproof system that allows minimal cabin reconfiguration and seating change, but allowed rapid insertion and connection for SAR mission whilst fully protecting the aircrafts interior.

Jigsaw are proud to announce the merging with Helicopter Static Trainers based in Melbourne Australia. HST have a proven history and outstanding reputation for building Helicopter Static trainers for Emergency Services and Military clients around the world. HST have an impressive list of clients including the U.S. Army’s joint operation with the Afghan Air Force in Kabul, Australian Helicopters EMS operations and the Australian Federal Police.

The new business arm of Jigsaw to result from the exciting merger will be know as ‘Jigsaw SAR Training Systems’. The department (STS) will incorporate all ground based training resources for our clients.
