SAR Wet Decks / Sea Trays
Helicopter wet decks and sea trays are essential epuipment in today’s SAR and medivac environments. They provide both a protective barrier from the harsh, corrosive salt water environment, as well as a padded, safe and protective work area for the rescue crew to recover a survivor into the helicopter. Our Sea Trays are also able to protect the helicopter and other occupants from blood and bodily fluid that may be present during the rescue or medivac.
Jigsaw Wet Decks and Sea Trays are constructed from rugged MILSPEC materials and designed and tested to the highest standards. Sea Trays are in use in many Maritime SAR operations around the world as operators look for a way to protect aircraft and crew from the demanding salt water environment.
All our Sea Trays are custom designed and made to suit any aircraft cabin in any configuration. Features include heavy reinforced sealed and welded seams, padded flooring and tub style padded walls to contain sea water and bio hazard. All decks are designed from custom templates to accommodate different seating configurations. Fully waterproof seat covers are also available for use either on their own or to combine with your Sea Tray for a fully integrated waterproof work area.
