Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (H.U.E.T.)

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training is an essential skill for both aviators and workers who require regular transport via aircraft such as oil platforms and remote sites.

Jigsaw Aviation through our training department provide comprehensive, practical skills based training courses to prepare you for over water emergencies. All our courses are fully accredited and taught by training staff with years of experience.

All participants will develop the essential skills and confidence to survive in the event of an overwater ditching. Students will learn skills such as preparation for ditching, underwater escape procedures, post-escape sea survival techniques and  life jacket and life raft training.

HUET training has proven to be an indispensable skill in the survival of countless crew and passengers in past accidents, and currently forms a mandatory skill requirement for modern day flight crews.

Emergency Breathing Systems (E.B.S.)

Emergency Breathing Systems provide aviation crew and passengers with an extra survival tool to assist egress from a ditched aircraft at sea. The specially designed and built  compressed air bottle gives the wearer that extra vital time to assist in the escape of the submerged aircraft.…

EBS courses offer the wearer that added safety and survival benefit and complement the standard HUET course. EBS courses provide the confidence and skills needed to utilise the device when your life depends on it.
