SAR Hoist Operator / Aircrewman Training

Jigsaw can provide training for new or existing crew members in all aspects of winching and SAR operations and techniques. The training can be tailored to the standard and needs of the operation and will prepare the crew member to enter service as a fully capable and operational SAR Helicopter Aircrew member.

Aircrew training can be as extensive as training a new crew member  to a fully operating SAR hoist operator for day and night NVG operations, or as simple as developing current crew to the next level of skill and knowledge.

We also provide Instructors to place in an organisation for longer term mentoring and ongoing supervision and remedial training if required.

Rescue Crewman / Wireman  Training

The Jigsaw Rescue Crewman Training Course is designed to go beyond the standard ‘rescue swimmer’ course, training crew members as fully operational rescue crew in all environments and terrain. The rescue crewman course prepares the student to operate in all environments whether it be swimming on the surface of a pitching sea or winching an injured climber off a mountain peak.
